Historically, the thought process behind designing a 500-series chassis has been simple: house the modules, provide enough power for them, and don’t make too much noise. But while designing our two-space chassis, we considered every use case – enter, the PowerGrid Duo.
The PowerGrid Duo is a 1U 19″ rack mount enclosure featuring stable power for two modules, versatile XLR and TRS I/O, and ground lift switches to eliminate 60-cycle hum. It also includes feed switches, which allow you to feed the output of channel one to the input of channel two, without the need for external cabling. We didn’t just consider functionality, either – the PowerGrid Duo’s recessed slots line your modules up flush with the unit’s faceplate, allowing your 500 series modules to look seamless and at-home alongside your 19″ gear.
